2023 Take Your Child to Work Day Breakfast Photos

On April 27, 2023, the Aero Club hosted it’s inaugural “Take Your Child to Work Day Breakfast” at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum.  Aero Club members and their families enjoyed an interactive discussion with National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Chair Jennifer Homendy and her daughter, Lexi.

This is a FREE event, open to Aero Club members and their families only.
The program will be oriented toward school-aged children.

After the program, attendees are encouraged to explore the newly renovated museum with their families.  Timed entry passes are NOT required for event attendees.

Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum Visitor Tips:
The museum is accessible via the Independence Avenue SW public entrance only.  Event attendees will be required to pass through a security checkpoint.  We encourage attendees to limit the number of personal belongings and bags you bring into the museum. Please note that the museum does not offer coat or bag storage.  Outside food is not permitted to be consumed in the building. Holly Woodruff Lyons is the President of HWL Aerospace Policy, LLC and served nearly 20 years on Capitol Hill, most recently as Republican Staff Director and General Counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Aviation. 
Mike Reynolds is a Senior Policy Advisor at Baker Donelson with over 25 years of experience in the public and private aviation sectors.  He previously served as Deputy Policy Director and Team Lead for Aviation on the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
